Instructor: Janet Winkle
Description: Do you love Stampscapes but you would like to use them in a new and easy way well here is the class for you! No heat gun, no colorbox stylus. You will be stamping on a heavy Kraft Paper which yields great cards when you embellish with pencils and a white gel pen. You will create 3 cards in this class and learn stamp placement and blending with pencils. These are fun easy cards great for Christmas, winter birthdays or just because!
What you need to bring to class: Memories Black Dye Base Ink Pad, Prismacolor Pencils white and black (I like these pencils because they have more wax and blend well), pencil sharpener, Singo White Gel Pen, Art Eraser which is also called a polymer eraser, tape runner or whatever adhesive you prefer to assemble your cards.
Contact Janet through here website if you have any question about this class. astampineveryhand.com
This advanced class features masking, dragging/blending ink, and highlighting. You will build the scene, stamp and cut your masks, and "paint" the scene using Makin' A Scene blending ovals (provided) with Colorbox or Memory Essentials stylus (not provided in class kit). Your class kit will include all of the stamps for you to keep, blending ovals, eclipse tape for your masks, full color illustrated instructions and papers to assemble your card. Assembly can be done in class or later. Participants must bring their own acrylic blocks and a way to adhere plain red rubber to them. We recommend a large (3"x6" approx. as 2 stamps are slightly longer than 5") and a small (2"x2" min.) block. We recommend either using tack and peel covered blocks, the Makin' A Scene Grip or a comparable product to adhere your rubber to the block. Aleene's tack it over and over again dries fast enough that you could probably use it if you arrive a bit early to put it on your rubber. Participants must bring their own inks. We recommend a black memories ink pad, as well as dye based ink colors the you wish to use. Our sample uses the following Makin' A Scene inks: Robins Egg blue, Yorktown blue, Midnight blue, Eggplant and Jungle. You may wish to make your scene less colorful and eliminate the eggplant and jungle colors, resulting in a more monochromatic representation. Additionally you will need your own stylus handle(s), a white gel pen, scissors and adhesive. All supplies are available for pre-order from Peddlers Den. If you have questions about the suitability of supplies you already own, please contact Tonya Weakley of Peddlers Den at 630-862-8497 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
What to bring: scissors
Cheryl from, The Paper Hollow, will show you how to make these easy 3D flowers just POP off your card! The designs are already cut for you. The only thing you will cut out are the words. All supplies included with 18 phrases to choose from and you get to keep the leftovers. Some background papers may vary.
Let me teach you how to add tons of photos to your layouts using Close to My Heart Flip Flaps. We will be using a variety of different sizes of Flip Flaps that will make your scrapbooking more interactive. There is no stamping so this two page layout is easily and quickly assembled. Supplies needed are your favorite adhesive, scissors, and 3D foam tape/dots. You will need 2 page protectors - bring your favorite page protectors or I will have Close to My Heart page protectors for sale at $1 each.
This fun class features white inks and pens on midnight blue metallic cardstock. You will stamp and mask the lighthouse before adding the waves, clouds and light beam. This class requires a lot of detailed pen work, so being able to comfortably see fine detail and use a pen for a lengthy time to do detail work is essential. Your kit includes two stamps for you to take home, as well as your eclipse tape, dauber, papers and corners for your card assembly. Participants must bring a black ink pad, a white pigment ink pad (we recommend Brilliance Moonlight White or comparable), at least one fine point white gel pen (we suggest Signo), acrylic blocks (we suggest a 3"x4" and one long one to accomodate the 5" long water image), and a way to adhere plain red rubber to your blocks. We suggest tack and peel covered blocks or our Grip-It. Aleene's tack it over and over dries quick enough that you can use it if you arrive early enough to apply it and let it dry before class. Additionally you will need scissors and adhesive. All supplies and products are available for pre-order from Peddlers Den. If you have questions about the suitability of products you already own, please contact Tonya Weakley of Peddlers Den at 630-862-8497 or email@example.com.
